BK Shuckers is a new combination sports/oyster bar and grill featuring Direct TV sports packages, the NFL ticket and pay-per-view events including Ultimate Fighting Championship contests. Unlike many sports bars, which often have little to offer beyond TVs and beer, BK Shuckers pairs its sports focus with a strong emphasis on great food. Get started with appetizers ranging from Bases Loaded Potato Wedges, Macho Nachos or bacon-wrapped scallops to the Grand Slam Platter with its chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, potato skins and dipping sauce. Satisfy your vegetable fix with a selection of salads including the fully loaded BK’s Signature Chef Salad, the Par Fajita Salad and the Carolina Rigger Cobb Salad. Soups include a creamy she crab, New England clam chowder and homemade chili in either cups or bowls. Of course, any self-respecting sports bar has to have wings, and BK Shuckers presents four varieties with your choice of five saucing options! The steamer offers oysters, clams, shrimp and crab legs. Burgers, wraps and sandwiches (including shrimp or oyster po’ boys), steaks and pastas round out the menu. Some of the best local live music can be enjoyed on the deck. BK Shuckers is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
