Celebrating their 15th year this season, Buxton Munch has been rockin’ the island’s lunch boxes since 1999. Buxton Munch Company serves big portions of good eats at great prices. The wraps and quesadillas are stand outs, and there are also gourmet salads, munchies (beer-battered onion rings, egg rolls), sandwiches, burgers, seafood and excellent vegetarian fare. They’re reputed to have the best fish tacos on the beach, and their Crabby Patties crab cakes are excellent too. The Munch has a newly expanded dining room with lots more room to breathe, and they’re now serving beer and wine. From April through January, Buxton Munch is open for lunch Monday through Saturday; for dinner hours, please call ahead. You can do take-out or eat in. Eating in is fun because this place is lively, the background music is good and the people are friendly.
