Off the beaten path at the end of Lighthouse Road, The Cove occupies a beautiful beach house with views of the Pamlico Sound, the lighthouse and spectacular sunsets. The house is large and rambling and has three suites (with jetted tubs) and four rooms, each with its own bath, balcony or screened porch, satellite DirecTV, AC, WiFi and flannel sheets in the winter. They are known for their delicious full breakfasts! Guests are greeted with a complimentary wine reception and provided bikes for roaming. This is a nonsmoking inn for people 15 and older. The whole house can be reserved for retreats or wedding groups. It is closed for the month of January. Call for more information about special rates.
