When hunger calls, head to Waves Market & Deli, a newly expanded grocery and delicatessen in the Tri-Villages. This is a great place to grab breakfast and coffee and pick up a picnic for the beach. The market sells beer and wine, fresh produce, chips and snacks, ice cream (just about every flavor of Ben & Jerry’s), popsicles and lots more. They have a great candy selection for your sweet tooth cravings. The take-out-only deli features hot and cold sandwiches with Boars Head meats and cheeses, chicken salad and pimiento cheese, vegetarian options, burritos and other Mexican specialties, house-smoked barbecue and hand-cut Belgian fries. Everything is homemade. Waves Market has an ATM machine. They’re open late, so this is the place to pick up late-night beer (including build-your-own six packs) and food.
